Why is a soap shop offering herbal tinctures?

Back in August, my friend Maureen (Mo) Judith (the founder/creator behind Aura La Voura) invited me to  attend the Good Medicine Confluence at Ghost Ranch. Over the years of our friendship, she's encouraged my growing curiosity about herbalism and desire to better understand herbal remedies. 

At the confluence, I sat in a variety of classes and met many interesting herbalists. Two classes in particular cracked open a greater appreciation for this ancient craft—Gaia Alchemy and The Spagyric Process—classes Mo taught.

I left Ghost Ranch with the strong sense that Soap & Supply should offer Aura La Voura refillable spagyric tinctures. And after months of preparation, that time is almost here.

To kick off this exciting addition to our carefully curated offerings, we will host a weekend of events with Mo. That includes an "Ask An Herbalist" popup in the store on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 2-5 pm. And on Sunday, Nov. 23, we'll host a special class, "Elevated Herbalism," with Mo from 12-2 pm.
